Recently during our vacation in Florida, we rented a car from FOX car rental @ Orlando.
Upon arriving Orlando Airport, we took the shuttle bus to the FOX office which was about 10 minutes away from the airport.

This time our car rental is super expensive as we arrive and depart from a different Aiport and don't get me started with the tolls charges which the car rental(Fox- not going to rent from them anymore) charge us about $8.99/ day regardless we use it or not. Which they offer little to no information about it when we booked it. You see in Florida their highways\ interstates are almost all electronic toll collection system meaning there is no paying with cash, there is no people working there to collect the money. So we have no choice but to pay for that. I read that some car rental company only bill you according to the amount you use and there is also a max amount $20/month. So we had to pay extra $99++ for 11 days just for tolls(when we were there i saw on the sign most of the tools cost just 0.50 - $1.50). Fine! As tolls in NY is expensive anyway....thinking this way make us feel abit better about it.
The problem we have with FOX car rental was they intimidate us. Pressing us to take their insurance like it's the end of the world if you don't( but we didn't buy it anyway as we have our own car insurance) They even charge us wrongly, adding $100 more on our bill.... and when my brilliant husband asked why is it so expensive they say it's the right amount.....but we told them the math DON'T add up(btw my husband is SUPER BRILLIANT with numbers). This man looking at us like we are idiots for questioning him and kept telling us it's CORRECT for like 5 times and kept rushing us to pay up. My husband said " STOP telling me it's correct and show me what I'm paying for". The man looked annoyed then only go one by one with us with the bill....then only he found out he charge us extra 1 day.... And now I'm annoyed!!! If we didn't go through the bill we would have been the 2 idiots that was rush(con) into paying more. I highly DO NOT recommend this company, very dodgy!!!~!!!This makes me wonder if they would return us our money if we would've only found out about the extra charges later on????
About the car...OMG....it was dirty inside and dent everywhere on the exterior.... we finally choose a Corolla which is slightly "cleaner". Just to check the car took us 30 minutes, making sure we mark all those dent on that piece of paper before check out...so they can't scam us again when we return the dump car of theirs

note to self: Always Always check before paying!! Do Not let anyone ever rush you into something you are not sure or ready for. Also always always read reviews before renting!!!!!
we were really upset about that.....suck to start our vacation like this. Anyway! luckily we were heading to Universal Studio the next day.
