Our 1st trip to Turkey was the Turkish Riviera, well the only place that we could travel to during winter time, was heading south. We booked the Last Minute offer to Antalya, Turkey, cost about 300Euro/ pax all included 7 days trip.
It was also our 1st time to try the Last Minute package. We were excited at 1st, 300Euro all inclusive, which includes return tickets for Dresden - Antalya, transport from the airport to our hotel (which took about 2 hours to reach..OMG), 7 nights stay in a 5 stars hotel (apparently all hotel in Antalya is 5 starts...hahaha well for me i think it's only 3 stars for our hotel), all meals and drinks in the hotel are included also. Not a bad deal right?
our hotel room. was nice and spacious
the hotel pools. it was in between 14-18 degrees Celsius the whole week, was too cold for a dip

basically there are only 2 ways to travel to the nearest town(Manavgat), taxi or the bus. The taxi will be more expensive of course, but when business is not so good the price can be as cheap as the bus.
the timetable of the only bus from Kizilagac - Manavgat. They accept Euro but it's cheaper to use Turkish Lira. There are many money change in Manavgat
the bus ride to Manavgat took about 20 minutes. Transport in Turkey is quite expensive. 1 Way bus ride cost us 3.50TL which is about 1.50Euro which is about RM6!!!! it's crazy. Just going to town cost us 3 Euro / pax :S
the weekday market
does remind me of Pasar Malam in Malaysia
public phone. Now this really reminds me Malaysia ><
freshly squeeze juice...yum yum
Most Turkish here don't speak English but they speak fluent German. It's like we never left Germany
"Branded" stuff anyone?
some man made waterfall in Manavgat town. There is not much things to see in Manavgat, it's more for shopping, it's almost like Hadyai, Thailand, where Malaysians love going there to shop.
from Manavgat, one can take this mini van to travel around and other nearby area. This Mini Van is slightly cheaper, 1.90TL /pax for 1 way. It's easy to go around as most of the Tourist areas are written on the bus or Mini van.
once can also take a river boat ride. But i don't think there is much to see though
we also took the minivan to Selalesi to see the famous beautiful waterfall
which look like this. beautiful eh?? *photo from internet
instead we got this. mud water
we were really unlucky. The day before we went to the waterfall, it was heavy rain the whole night.
So we got mud waterfall. We couldn't even see the waterfall. the viewing area was flooded.
Well we should have known better then to go see some waterfall after a whole night of rain
some orchard near the area
We did try some local snacks like Doner and another 1 i forgot the name. It's the same meat just different type of bread. It was yummy and cheap too :) I forgot to take a picture of the shop. IF you can see the local eating there....it should be good and cheap
Our hotel provide 4-5 meals everyday but the food was average and it was more German food than Turkish food. Imagine Turkish chef trying to cook Germany food with Turkish style. And it was a fail try i would say. But when they really did make Turkish food it was delicious.
