There are many trails that one can hike but as we are not professional hikers also don't think we cut out for it.we did a short explore around 2 of the trails. 1st trail was Bright Angel Trailhead, it's was at the Hermit Rest transfer or near the Bright Angel Lodge. we just walked down the trail for 30 minutes because it was starting to get dark.
this Bright Angel Trail descends 4500ft in 7.8miles or 12.6km to the Colorado River.
There it joins the River Trail , which leads an additional 1.8miles or 3km to Phantom Ranch
the view going down the canyon is amazing too
the Bright Angel Trail is Grand Canyon's most heavily used trail

the 2nd trail that we explore was the South Kaibab Trailhead. It's located at the orange line of the shuttle bus.
another of my favourite picture
we took our time to hiked down the canyon. the trail was quite narrow for me but i did saw people who run down the trail....must be professionals
strictly hiking shoe or equivalent. no heals please
The South Kaibab is very steep, requiring just 6.3miles or 10.1km to descent 4.860ft from the rim to the Colorado River.
it is also one of the few Grand Canyon trails that follows ridge lines an opposed to side canyons, and thus offers spectacular unobstructed views
the view was amazing
we started pretty early morning and it was freaking cold when the wind blows but as you hike down more it gets warm
i'm going to remember this moment forever
stay hydrated
going down
this pic looks like some sort of a spots wear print ad
i like the name..hehe
it took us about 40 minutes to get to this point. but duration maybe be vary depends on your speed
this is a trail that i would recommend, if one have more than 1 day in the Grand Canyon
must visit, it's fun, get to try what's its like to hike in the Grand canyon
took us another hour to go back up....so while we were thinking this was rather easy (going down hill) remember you need to get back up that is the hard part.
thank god we brought some orange from the hotel to eat along the way while enjoying the view
fun facts
The hiking experience was one of the highlight of this trip for me. Love it! I do hope i can come back again and try to hike further down.
~ bye ~
